Vanilla may be one of the original ice cream flavors, but when it’s really pure and homemade, it can be the best. It takes you all the way back to childhood, which is nice sometimes.

Beautiful pictures and gorgeous ice cream! I love the addition of fresh berries… I have fond memories of picking them with my family as well – up in Nova Scotia where we vacationed. It’s amazing how much so food is attached to memories!
