The rules are that not only do I have to share 7 things, but I also have to include links to the blogs of the lovely ladies who tagged me, and tag 7 others to do the same. I think this is a fun exercise to get to know other bloggers better. Without further ado, 7 random facts about me:
- My blog’s name, The Pink Apron, is inspired by my love for pink kitchen gadgets and accessories. My absolute favorite is my pink Kitchenaid mixer. Pink is also the color of my bathroom, my bicycle and a fair number of shoes in my closet.
- I’m terribly afraid of heights. I don’t ride roller coasters.
- My favorite Food Network star is Alton Brown. I love his explanations of the science behind cooking and baking.
- I’m addicted to buying kitchen items. I have so many that some live in my hall and bedroom closets. Oops.
- I don’t have any pets but someday I really want a Miniature Schnauzer.
- My favorite movie is Amelie.
- I have a weakness of black bottom cupcakes and any kind of cheese.

i’m so jealous about your mixer!!! i’ve wanted one for years but they are just so expensive. my favorite color is pistachio. what attachments do you have for it? the pasta maker looks amazing.
I love pink too – hot pink. Somebody I used to work with would wear pink T-shirts with me every thursday. I’m sure he’s still doing it. But I’m bad and I take breaks now and then. Hey, now it’s just Andy, the cats and dogs that see me and they aren’t telling
I control the amount of kitchen gadgets in the house because once the flood gates open, I’ll be drowning in them. Now stuff from the hardware store doesn’t have a limit, it seems.
Ooh, I might be lucky to receive a KitchenAid this Christmas and I will get a pink one too! Also mini schnaus are so cute
heights don’t like me either, and I’ve never been on a rollercoaster. high five?
